Mr. Hasty, a native of Sebrell, was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church. He was a member of the Carrsville Volunteer Fire Department. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Sexton Hasty; a daughter, Anita M. Hasty of Carrsville; two sons, G. Franklin Hasty and Gerald Travis Hasty, both of Carrsville; two sisters, Iola H. Joyner of Hunterdale, and Doris H. Bess of Courtland; two brothers, Quillian R. Hasty of Portsmouth and Carlton E. Hasty of Colonial Heights. Graveside services were conducted Saturday in Beaver Dam Baptist Church Cemetery by the Rev. Richard Peerey. Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, handled the arrangements.
