Blanche Houchens 

  Blanche Elizabeth Houchens, 55, of 211 Magnolia St., Franklin, died March 
30, 1988, in Sentara/Norfolk General Hospital.  A native of Coopers, W.Va., 
and lived in Franklin since 1974. 

  Survivors include a husband, Warren C. Houchens; five daughters, Anita H. 
Brennan of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Dottie H. James of Cleveland, Ohio, Rebecca 
Marie Braswell of Windsor, Rhonda H. Miller and Shannon Houchens, both of 
Franklin: three sisters, Dorothy R. Poston of Norfolk, Marie Musick of Windsor 
and Hazel Johnson of Maryland; and six grandchildren. 

  The funeral will be conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. in Sidney F. Harrell 
Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Victor Hunter of Antioch Congregational 
Christian Church, Windsor.  Burial will be in the Windsor Cemetery. 

  Visitation will take place Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. in the funeral home.
