HODGES Thomas Nathaniel Hodges, 33, a resident of Charlottesville, died on Wednesday afternoon, March 12, of monoxide gas fumes from his car, which was found on the road near Burdette. He was visiting his wife's relatives near Walters. Mr. Hodges was a son of James Winfrey and Mrs. Margaret Perkins Hodges of Goochland County. An employee of the Blue Ridge Sanatorium, he was a member of Perkins Baptist Church in Goochland County. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Martha Williams Hodges, one son, William Thomas Hodges, and one daughter, Shelly Winston Hodges, all of Charlottesville; two brothers, James Winston Hodges of Gum Spring and David Fountain Hodges of Fife; two sisters, Miss Mary Elizabeth Hodges of Fife and Mrs. E.W. Deck of Manakin; and a number of nephews and nieces. Funeral services will be conducted from the chapel of W.J.M. Holland & Sons on Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with burial in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Walters.
