LAURA HODSDEN 

RITES CONDUCTED FOR MISS HODSDEN 

  Funeral services for Miss Laura Hodsden were conducted Saturday afternoon 
at Benns Church by the Rev. C. Ralph Arthur, the Rev. W.T. Ratchford and the 
Rev. H.B. Owens.

  Pallbearers were W.I. Hodsden, Sr., R.T. Gilliam, Ralph James, N.T. Gray, 
Jr., Reynolds D. Parker, Junius M. Batten and Marvin Whitley.  Burial was in 
Old St. Luke's Cemetery.


Laura Wilson HODSDEN, public school teacher, 
Nansemond Co. native, d. 5 Aug 1948, Nansemond Co., age 54, 
interred in Historic St. Luke's Church Cemetery*, Benns Church, 7 Aug 1948,
