A native of Isle of Wight County and a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church, she was the widow of John Thomas Hill and a daughter of William and Mrs. Frances Vaughan Bridger. She is survived by a son, John Henry Hill of Norfolk; a sister, Mrs. Lillie B. Stephenson of Sedley; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A funeral service was held Thursday at 2 p.m. in Holland and Sons Funeral Home by the Rev. C.L. Gatling of Black Creek Baptist Church. Burial was in Beaver Dam Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were J.C. Stephenson, Paul Stephenson, Charlie Holland, Fenton Holland, Clinton Arrington and Frazier Ellis. Clara L. (BRIDGER; Mrs. John T.)
