  Col. George T. [sic; F.] Hall, a prominent citizen of Isle of Wight, died 
suddenly on January 16, 1892.  It was said of him that one of his greatest 
virtues was that of charity.

Isle of Wight Co. D.Reg. {BVS copy} 1892 #57 gives d. January 3d, 1892, 
   of Heart Disease; son of George & Mary HALL. 

He was elected as a Justice in 1856, and re-elected in 1865 & 1868 in 
   special elections. 

He was appointed Postmaster of Isle of Wight C.H. 18 Feb 1873; 
   his salary that year was $12.00. 

He was Supervisor of Newport District Dec 1875 - Jul 1877.

He & Mary F. EDWARDS m. 1 Feb 1845, in Isle of Wight Co.
