Hall is scheduled to be conducted Saturday at 4 p.m. at Windsor Baptist Church by the Rev. H.L. Rumfelt. Burial will be in Windsor cemetery. The body will be taken from Baker Funeral Home, Suffolk, to the church Saturday at 3 p.m. Members of the L.T. Hall Bible Class will be honorary pallbearers. Pallbearers will be W.M. Edwards Jr., Shirley T. Holland, Herbert Lawrence, John J. Rhodes, Marvin Eley, Davis Lee Godwin, Eugene Atkins and Richard Holland. Hall, 76, retired Isle of Wight County school superintendent, died Thursday in Obici Memorial Hospital. He retired as school superintendent in 1961 after 39 years’ service in that post and 50 years in the education field. He was a graduate of Newport News High School and the University of Richmond and received a master of education degree from the College of William and Mary in 1940. He was a charter member and first president of the Windsor Ruritan Club. In addition, he was a member of the Board of Deacons of Windsor Baptist Church and was chairman for many years. He taught the L.T. Hall Bible Class in the Sunday school. Surviving are his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Edward L. Bass of Courtland, Mrs. William F. Jurcit Jr. of Miami, and Mrs. William M. Lyon of Richmond; a son, Lucien T. Hall, Jr. of Richmond; three sisters, Mrs. John P. Dalton and Mrs. Marion Bardley of Richmond and Mrs. Virginia Thomas of Arlington; and 10 grandchildren.
