All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ WILLIAM EDWARD HALL Funeral services for William Edward Hall, who died at his home in Isle of Wight County Thursday, were conducted Friday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at Oak Grove Methodist Church, with the Rev. J. Oakley Wilburn officiating, assisted by the Rev. T.M. Simpson. I.O.O.F. and I.O.R.M. orders were represented at his grave. Mr. Hall was survived by his wife, Mrs. Margaret Warren Hall; three daughters, Mrs. H.D. Edwards, Miss Alvira Hall and Miss Annie Hall; two sons, Mr. J.E. and W.W. Hall, and six grandchildren. Active pallbearers were J.T. Riddick, James Owens, Henry White, Thomas Holland, Ed. Bagnell and William Bagnell. Honorary pallbearers were Mr. Hall's nephews. William Edward HALL, oysterman, b. 19 May 1854, Isle of Wight Co., d. 11 May 1933, at home, Isle of Wight Co., interred in Old St. Luke's Church Cemetery*, Benns Church, 12 May 1933, "The Smithfield (VA) Times," Vol. 13, No. 6, May 18, 1933 *Her parents, George W. & Ida (CHAPMAN) BATTEN, are also buried there.
