Holland, 67 Of Windsor Arthur Leroy Holland, 67, of 33 North Court St., Windsor, died Friday in Louise Obici Memorial Hospital, Suffolk, after a long illness. He was a native of Isle of Wight County, son of the late Augustus and Addie Johnson Holland. He was the husband of Mrs. Virginia Fulgham Holland. Holland was retired from the Newport News Shipbuilding & Dry Dock Co., after approximately 30 years. He was a member of Congregational Christian Church, where he had served as a Trustee and on the Board of Deacons. He was also a member of Windsor Purdie Lodge #170 and a former member of the Windsor Ruritan Club. Besides his wife he is survived by one son, Capt. Arthur Allen Holland, USAF, Barksdale AFB, Shreveport, La.; and one brother, Z. Taylor Holland of Walters. A funeral service was held Sunday at 3 p.m. in Colonial Funeral Home, Smithfield, by Rev. William A. Grissom and Rev. Harold Fisher. Burial was in Historic St. Luke's Cemetery. Pallbearers were Rufus H. Darden, Shirley T. Holland, W. Russell Johnson, Albert J. Johnson Jr., N. Macon Edwards III, James H. Holland, Jack M. Gale III, and James M. Beale.
