BERTIE L. HOLLAND 

  SMITHFIELD - Bertie Lee Johnson Holland, 81, died Saturday, June 17, in her 
home. 

  A native of Isle of Wight County, Mrs. Holland was a homemaker.  She was a 
member of the Church of Christ. 

  Survivors include one daughter, Betty Lou Holland Palmer of Smithfield; 
five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. 

  A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel 
by the Rev. Warren F. Taylor.  Burial will be in Antioch Church Cemetery in 
Windsor. 

  The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 tonight at the funeral home.
