Funeral Services Held at Grave 

  Funeral services for Lucy [sic; Luther] Carroll Holland, infant of Mr. and 
Mrs. George Edward Holland, were held at the grave in the Beaver Dam Church 
cemetery, Tuesday, by the Rev. John P. Batkins.  The pall was of gladlioli 
and sweet peas. 

  The pallbearers were Edward and Ocie Lee Holland, Jodie Lee Marsh and 
William Darden.

CARROLL HOLLAND 

   Funeral services for Carroll Holland, two-month old son of Mr. and Mrs. 
George E. Holland of Nansemond County, who died Monday in a Norfolk hospital, 
were held Tuesday afternoon at 3 o’clock at the grave in Beaver Dam Cemetery, 
with the Rev. John P. Batkins officiating.

   The baby is survived by its parents; a sister, Helen May Holland; two 
brothers, Robert Lee and George E. Holland, Jr.; his maternal grandparents, 
Mr. and Mrs. Jodie Johnson.
