Edwin C. Thornton, Jr., pastor. Burial will be in Beaver Dam church cemetery. The body was taken to the W.J.M. Holland Funeral Home. Mr. Holland, 56, died at his home in Carrsville Tuesday afternoon after a long illness. He was a lifelong resident of Carrsville community and member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church. He was the husband of Mrs. Dorothy Josephine Johnson Holland and son of the late Lamb and Mrs. Elizabeth Daughtrey Holland of Isle of Wight County. Surviving, besides his wife, are three sons, Robert Lee Holland, George Edward Holland, Jr., and Elvers Henry Holland, all of Carrsville; one daughter, Mrs. Helen H. Bishop of Carrsville; four brothers, Otis Holland of Portsmouth, Clarence Holland, Robert Holland and L.H. Holland, all of Norfolk; three sisters, Mrs. Lucy Waldron of Portsmouth, Mrs. Virtley Groton of Norfolk and Mrs. Elizabeth Fulton of Scranton, Pa. ****************************************************************************** George E.
