HOLLAND DIES AFTER AN ILLNESS Funeral For Wife of Richard Holland Tomorrow Afternoon Mrs. Martha Holland, 59, died at her home near Windsor, Va., last night at 9:20 after an illness of several weeks. She is survived by her husband, Richard Holland, and four daughters, Mrs. A.F. Morgan, of Suffolk, Miss Dorothy Holland, of Norfolk, Mrs. Irene Wilson and Merdie Seward Holland, both of Isle of Wight county, and two sons, Ed. Holland of Smithfield and J.R. Holland, of Isle of Wight county. Others surviving are six grandchildren and three sisters, Mrs. Willie Edwards, of Nansemond county, Mrs. R.L. Bracey, and Mrs. N.T. Braswell, both of Windsor, Va., and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Antioch Christian church, conducted by the Rev. H.E. Crutchfield, the Rev. N.F. Jacobs and Dr. I.W. Johnson. Interment will be in the church cemetery. ****************************************************************************** MORTUARY MRS. MARTHA HOLLAND Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Holland were held Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Antioch Christian church conducted by the Rev. H.E. Crutchfield and the Rev. N.F. Jacobs. Members of the church choir, accompanied by Mrs. Sadie Whitley, rendered the hymns "When They Ring Those Golden Bells," and "Sleep On Beloved, Sleep." Mrs. J.S. Morgan sang as a solo, "Face To Face." The casket was covered with a pall of lilies and pink rosebuds. There were many handsome floral offerings. Active pallbearers were: J.W. Jenkins, S.T. Holland, G.R. Lawrence, James Whitley, R.C. Carr, A.L. Holland, Bruce Johnson, and Charlie Carr. Friends of the family were honorary pallbearers. Burial was in the church cemetery.
