All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ LELIA MARION BRYANT HOLLAND CARRSVILLE - Marion Bryant Holland, 74, a retired teacher, died Sept. 29, in a hospital. Mrs. Holland, a native of Isle of Wight County, was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church. She was retired from Isle of Wight County schools after 25 years of service. She was a 1932 graduate of State Teachers College, Farmville. In 1935, she moved to Windsor, where she began her career in education. Mrs. Holland also taught in the Albemarle County school system. She was a member of Ruth Kersey Baptist Women’s Conference, Kingdom Builders Sunday School Class and the Happy Homemakers Club. Survivors include two daughters, Phyllis H. Barton of Sedley, and Marianne H. Stern of Avon Lake, Ohio; a son, Earl S. Holland Jr. of Plano, Texas; and six grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted at 4 p.m. Friday in Beaver Dam Baptist Church by the Revs. Richard Peerey and David Johnson. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Wright Funeral Home, Franklin is handling arrangements. The family will assemble in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Barton, Virginia Highway 646, Sedley. Lelia Marion (BRYANT; Mrs. Earl S.
