Born in Franklin, he was employed by Coburn Equipment Co. and was a member of Marantha Bible Church. Survivors include his parents, Phillip Wayne Holland and Mary Tharrington Holland of Windsor; a brother, Stephen W. Holland of Windsor; and his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Margaret Blythe Tharrington of Franklin. The funeral was conducted Sunday in Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home in Suffolk by the Rev. Lamar Sentell. Burial was in Windsor Cemetery. The family request expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Suffolk Christian School.
