Mrs. Holloman Dies, Aged 79 

  FRANKLIN, Va. April 29 - Mrs. Cora May Holloman, age 79 years, native of 
North Carolina and a resident of Zuni, Virginia, for the past fifty years, 
died yesterday at the home of daughter Mrs. Julia Bissette [sic; Bissett] 
of Zuni, after an illness of many months. 

  Mrs. Holloman was the daughter of the late John R. and Sarah Elizabeth 
Holloman Outland of North Carolina and widow of Edward Sidney Holleman [sic] 
of Woodland, N.C.  A member ot Tucker Swamp Church near Zuni, Virginia. 

  Besides Mrs. Bissett she is survived by another daughter, Mrs. Helen L. 
Jones of Miami, Florida; four grandchildren; two brothers, R.W. Outland of 
Norfolk and J.R. Outland of Murfreesboro, N.C., and a number of nieces and 
nephews. 

  The body was taken to the funeral home of W.J.M. Holland & Sons of Franklin 
pending funeral arrangements.

Mrs. Cora May Holleman Buried Sunday in Antioch Chris. Ch. Cemetery 

  Mrs. Cora May Holleman, 79, a native of North Carolina and a resident of 
Zuni for the past 50 years, died April 28th at the home of her daughter, Mrs. 
Julia Bissett of Zuni, after an illness of many months. 

  Mrs. Holleman was the daughter of the late John R. and Sarah Holleman 
Outland of North Carolina and widow of Edward Sidney Holleman of Zuni, and 
was a member of Tucker Swamp Baptist Church. 

  Besides Mrs. Bissett, she is survived by another daughter, Mrs. Helen L. 
Jones of Miami, Fla.; four grandchildren; two brothers, R.W. Outland of 
Norfolk, and J.R. Outland of Murfreesboro, N.C., and a number of nieces and 
nephews. 

  Funeral services were held on Sunday at 2 P.M. by the Rev. L.L. Holzbach, 
pastor of Tucker Swamp Baptist Church.  Burial was in Antioch Christian Church 
Cemetery.
