ANNIE TAYLOR* PASSES AWAY SEPTEMBER 30TH Mrs. Annie Taylor Hillyer, of Rescue, wife of L.J. Hillyer, died at the family home at Rescue on Tuesday, September 30, at 10:15 p.m. after a long illness. Funeral services were held on Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock at Riverview Church, Rescue, and burial was in the church cemetery. There was a large attendance at the funeral and the flowers were beautiful, attracting the esteem in which the deceased was held in the community in which she lived. Active pallbearers were W.M. Powell, J.F. Barlow, P.T. Martin, H.H. Hiter, D.L. Mountjoy, Jesse Barlow, Walter Johnson, George Johnson, and E.A. Martin. Honorary pallbearers were: H.P. Minga, Waverly Watkins, A.A. Martin, C.M.
