BEULAH CARR HINES

   Zuni - A funeral service for Mrs. Beulah Carr Hines, 76, was held Friday at 
3:30 p.m. in Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, by the Revs. Trump and T.A. Powell. 
Burial was in Colosse Church cemetery.

   She died Wednesday in a Portsmouth nursing home.

   She was a native of Isle of Wight County and the widow of Stephen Hines. She 
was a member of Colosse Baptist Church.

   Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Mary Lee Phelps of Virginia Beach; a 
stepdaughter, Mrs. Estelle Goggins of Windsor; three sisters, Mrs. Annie 
Rountree of Suffolk and Mrs. Lillian Gwaltney and Mrs. Mary Baines of Baltimore; 
a brother, Jasper Carr of Walters; and three grandchildren.
