Stephens. Burial was in Old St. Luke’s cemetery. Mrs. Hines died Monday in her home. A native of Surry County, she was the widow of Ernest F. Hines. She was a member of Battery Park Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Linwood J. Hundley, and a stepson, Ernest M. Hines, both of Rescue; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Clestia May Minga and Mrs. Laura Lee Stanley of Rescue, and Mrs. Dora Powell, of Smithfield; a sister, Mrs. Florence Joyner of Colonial Heights; 12 grandchildren; and five great- grandchildren. Her husband Ernest F. HINES (1892-1980) is buried there with his first wife, Ola DEWS (1893-1963).
