She was the wife of Issac [sic; Isaac] D. Harper and daughter of the late Joe and Mrs. Ballie Butler Braswell. She was a member of Antioch Christian Church, Ladies Bible Class and Missionary Circle. She was a native of Isle of Wight County. Other than her husband she is survived by two sons, Stephen J. Whitley of Carrollton and Garland S. Whitley of Windsor; two sisters, Mrs. Nellie Dickerson of Suffolk and Mrs. W.E. Williams of Franklin; and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:30 p.m. in the Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home by Rev. R. Lindsey Poteat with burial in Antioch Church Cemetery. The will be at the home of Garland S.
