LIZZIE BOWDEN HARRIS

   ZUNI -  A funeral service for Mrs. Lizzie Bowden Harris, 81, of Zuni was 
held Tuesday in Bethany Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Erold Lotridge.

   Burial was in Mt. Carmel Church Cemetery at Walters.

   Pallbearers were F.N. Carr, T.M. Carr Jr., C.M. Butler, James A. Anderson, 
Harold M. West, Sol Lastinger, W.C. Andrews Jr., Willie Lowe, Charles C. 
Leber, Dr. Earl Strickland, John C. Massey, Edgar Bryant and J.K. Bowden.

   A lifelong resident of Isle of Wight County, she was a daughter of James M. 
and Martha Davis Bowden and the widow of Matthew T. Harris.

   She was a member of the Bethany Presbyterian Church in Zuni.

   She is survived by three daughters, Miss Eva Marie Harris of Richmond, Mrs. 
Lenell H. Wellons of Zuni, and Mrs. Charles Brown of Newport News; three 
grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
