She was the wife of Elmo Harcum and a daughter of Benjamin and Mrs. Josephine Cones Redd of Isle of Wight County. Mrs. Harcum was native of Isle of Wight County and a member of Colosse Baptist Church. Surviving besides her widower, are a daughter, Mrs. George V. Montcastle, Jr., of Newport News, and three grandchildren. A funeral service was held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in W.J.M. Holland Sons Funeral Home. Burial was in Colosse Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Archie Spivey, Lloyd Spivey, Palmer Spivey, Guthrie Ballard, Wilbur Redd and Ocie Powell.
