NORFOLK - William Henry Harrison Jr., of 3904 Davis St., a retired Norfolk policeman, died Thursday in Norfolk General Hospital. He was a native of Isle of Wight County and husband of the late Nancy Myrick Harrison. He was the son of the late W.H. Harrison and Mrs. Josie Carr Harrison. He was a member of the Federal Organization of Police, and veteran of World War II. He retired in 1970 after 20 years with Norfolk Police Department. He is survived by two daughters, Sandra L. Harrison and Patricia Harrison; five sons, Samuel P. Harrison, Ronald L. Harrison, David S. Harrison, Mathew J. Harriston and William Henry Harrison III, all of Norfolk; two sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Kent, McDonna, N.Y., and Mrs. Mary Ann Howell of Carrsville; two brothers, F. Wallace Harrison Sr. of Franklin and Robert Harrison of Daytonna, Fla. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, conducted by the Rev. Tom D. Douros. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
