All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ LONNIE EDWARD HARRELL CARRSVILLE - Lonnie Edward Harrell, 73, a retired farmer and the husband of Mrs. Annie Williams Harrell, died early Tuesday in a Suffolk hospital after a brief illness. A native of Northampton County, he was a son of William Richard and Mrs. Milfery Corner Harrell. He was a member of Mt. Carmel Christian Church. Besides his widow, surviving are two brothers, William Harrell of Rich Square, N.C., and Arthur Harrell of Aulander, N.C.; and two sisters, Mrs. Mamie Baker of Scotland Neck, N.C. and Mrs. Blannie Harrell of Hobgood, N.C. A funeral service will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. in W.J.M. Holland & Sons Funeral Home by the Rev. Thomas D. Sutton of Mt. Carmel Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jasper Carr, Lonnie Carr, Stanley Lowe, Lofton Rhodes, Charles Redd, Frank Johnson, A.L. Duck and Frank Cutchins.
