H E. Crutchfield, pastor of Wakefield Christian Church, and the Rev. R.E. Brittle, pastor of Bethlehem Christian church, Suffolk. Burial was in Antioch Christian church cemetery near Windsor. Mrs. Hayward, 90, died Monday in Dendron [sic; Suffolk*] after an illness of three years. A native of Isle of Wight County, she was a daughter of Joseph A. and Mrs. Mary Crumpler Barrett. She was a member of Dendron Christian Church. She was the widow of Dr. William D. Harward, a Congregational pastor. Surviving are a son, William E. Harward of Washington; a sister, Mrs. Eunice Edwards of Arlington; a brother, D.P. Barrett of Chapel Hill, N.C.; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. ****************************************************************************** Mrs. Harward Mrs. Mollie Barrett Harward, 90, of Dendron, widow of Dr. W.D. Harward, who was a minister of the Congregational Christian Church, died Sunday, March 4, in Obici Hospital, after an illness of three years. A native of Isle of Wight county, she was the daughter of Joseph A. and Mary Crumpler Barrett, and a member of Dendron Christian Church. Surviving are one son, Wm. E. Harward of Washington, D.C.; one sister, Mrs. Eunice Edwards of Arlington; one brother, D.P. Barrett of Chapel Hill, N.C.; two grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Services were held Tuesday, March 6, at 2 p.m. in the Purviance Funeral Chapel with the Rev. H.E. Crutchfield and the Rev. R.E. Brittle, officiating. Burial was in Antioch Cemetery, Windsor. Pallbearers were R.C. Cobb, C.R. Clements, W.D. Barrett, Emmett Barrett, Garland Spratley and Harry Spratley. ****************************************************************************** Mrs. W.D.
