Jones, 68, Dies in Hospital; Rites Tomorrow SMITHFIELD - Benjamin Beverly Jones, 68, retired Isle of Wignt County farmer, did Monday in McGuire Veterans' Hospital, Richmond, after a short illness. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. at the Bullock Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Old Brick Church Cemetery at Bacon's Castle. A life-long resident of Isle of Wight Couniy, he was a World War I veteran and was a member of Bacon's Castle Baptist Church and the George F. Dashiell American Legion Post No. 49. He was the son of the late James Jason Jones and Mrs. Mary Martha Jones of Isle of Wight County. He is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Mary E. Webb of Chuckauck; Mrs. James I. Turner; Mrs. Thomas Barrett, and Mrs. Vincen Moger, all of Smithfield; six brothers, Claudie E. Jones, Sr., Abram M. Jones, Sr., Edmond W. Jones, Sr., James C. Jones, Will B. Jones, all of Smithfield, and John W. Jones of Rescue.
