INDIA BARLOW JONES 

WOMAN WITH MANY DESCENDANTS DIES IN I-WIGHT COUNTY 

  Mrs. India Barlow Jones, 84, wife of W.B. Jones, died June 13 at 12:40 
midnight, at her home near Smithfield.  She is survived by her husband W.B. 
Jones, six daughters, Mrs. C.C. Goodrich of Newport News; Mrs. A.C. Jones 
of Smithfield; Mrs. W.B. Goodrich of Suffolk; Mrs. Addie J. Hundley of 
Smithfield; Mrs. George E. Barlow of Smithfield; Mrs. George J. Ilish of 
Newport News; and two sons, F.L. Jones and H.B. Jones of near Smithfield; 
forty-five grandchildren and a half sister, Mrs. L.Q. Jones of Churchland.

  Mrs. Jones was a lifelong resident of Isle of Wight County.  She and her 
husband had been married and living together in the county for sixty-five 
years.

  The deceased was a member of Pine Grove Assembly of God of near Windsor 
and a former member of Mill Swamp Baptist Church.

  Funeral services were held on Friday at five p.m. in the Mill Swamp 
Cemetery.
