JONES [sic] James W. Jones, 77, prominent farmer of Isle of Wight County died Thursday morning at 2:30 at his home near Windsor. Surviving him are his wife, Mrs. Martha Reynolds Jones; three sons Edward of Roduco, N.C., J.W. of Hampton, and T.J. [sic; T.L.*] Jones of Windsor; one daughter, Mrs. E.E. Forehand of Hopewell; twenty-three grandchildren and one great grandchild. Active pallbearers were Hiram Gardner, Howard Johnson, W.T. Joyner, James Whitley, J.L. Babb, Tom Rountree, Charles Boyette, and A.W. Liverman. Friends of the family served as honorary pallbearers.
