JONES Funeral services for Miss Maggie E. Jones, 69, who died Saturday, were held at 2 p.m. Monday from the residence of her sister, Mrs. G.W. Seward, 1243 Twenty-first Street in Newport News with the Rev. C.A. Turner of South Boston, a nephew, officiating, assisted by the Rev. H.W. Connelly, pastor of Orcutt Avenue Baptist Church. Burial in Ivy Hill Cemetery, Smithfield. Miss Jones died Saturday afternoon at the home of her sister. She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. I.N. Jones of Smithfield. Surviving are five sisters; Mrs. Seward, Mrs. R.W. Stallings and Mrs. Laura Turner, Smithfield; Mrs. Clarence Turner, Norfolk and Mrs. C.H. Stringfield and two brothers, P.P. Jones of Newport News and J.M. Jones, Smithfield.
