ODIE RUTH PRESSON JONES 

   SEDLEY - A funeral service for Mrs. Odie Ruth Jones was Smithfield, by the 
Rev. Joseph R. Prince.  Burial was in Central Hill Cemetery.

   Pallbearers were James Allen Delk, Louis Delk, Herbert Little, W. Bennett 
Little, James C. Presson and Marion W. Jones.

   Mrs. Jones, 73, the wife of Samuel L. Jones, died Monday morning in Obici 
Memorial Hospital, Suffolk.

   A native of Isle of Wight County, she lived in Sedley community 20 years. 
She was a member of Central Hill Baptist Church.

   She was a daughter of Benjamin and Mrs. Betty Baker Presson.

   Besides her husband, surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Emory McInteer of 
Quantico; three sons, Vernon L. Jones of Littleton, Alfred L. Jones of 
Bridgeville, Del., and Howard T. Jones of Surry; three sisters, Mrs. Daisy 
Jones and Mrs. Lucille Gwaltney of Newport News, and Mrs. Georgia Presson of 
Hopewell; two brothers, B.C. Presson and Emerson Presson of Windsor; and eight 
grandchildren.
