He was a native of Hopewell and lived at 5 Hoffman Trailer Court. He was a warehouse attendant for Preddy Fertilizer Co. He was a member of Antioch Christian Church. Survivors include his parents, James M. and Mrs. Evelyn Holland Jones of Windsor; two sisters, Mrs. Donna O'Connor of Fountain Valley, Calif., and Miss Robin Lynn Jones of Orange, Calif.; a brother, James Mark Jones of Windsor; and paternal grandmother, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Jones of Chesapeake. A funeral will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home, Suffolk, by the Rev. R. Lindsey Poteat.
