Jones, 45, Windsor Farmer, Councilman WINDSOR - Robert Claudius Jones, 45, of Church Street, Windsor, a member of the Town Council and a farmer, died Sunday in Louise Obici Memorial Hospital, Suffolk. He was a past president of Windsor Ruritan Club, a member of Purdie Masonic Lodge 170 of Windsor, and a veteran of World War II. He was a deacon and a past Sunday school superintendent of Windsor Christian Church. He was a son of Mrs. Blanche Lee Reynolds Jones of Windsor and the late Thomas Lee Jones. Survivors, besides his mother, are his widow, Mrs. Doris Davenport Jones; two daughters, Miss Linda Dean Jones and Miss Barbara Jean Jones; and two sisters, Mrs. Alfred Crocker and Mrs. James P. O'Briant, all of Windsor and three brothers, William L. Jones of Virginia Beach, James T. Jones of Windsor, and Alvin Ray Jones of Chesapeake. A funeral service will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. in R. W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home, Suffolk, by the Rev. W. A. Grissom of Windsor Christian Church. Beale, Frank L. Brown, J.P. Parham, William E. Garrison Jr., Mitchell P. Hunter and Richard J. Holland.
