In Memoriam. 

  JOHNSON.  In loving memory of our dear Father, Albert B. Johnson, who fell 
asleep five years ago today, May 16th, 1906 [sic; 1901]. 

   No, we would not wake thee, peaceful one; 
    Why wake these eyes to weep? 
   For since thy rest must be so sweet; 
    And thy weary task is done.

Additional information: 

A son of Jesse P. & "Chasey" Chastity ANDREWS, he 1m. Ruthy JOHNSON (d. 26 Jul 
   1855, age 34), daughter of Gale & Jemima "Mima" (POWELL) JOHNSON, 2 Dec 1844. 

He 2m. Christian/Christiana JOHNSON (b. Jul 1831), daughter of Norris & Treacy 
   JOHNSON, 20 Nov 1856, in Isle of Wight Co. 

Their son John Letcher JOHNSON (1861 - 1924) is buried in Western Branch 
   Baptist Church Cemetery, Nansemond Co. - Row 2, Lot 8.

The family appeared in the 1900 Census in Windsor Dist., Isle of Wight Co. -
