ANNA ELIZA WRIGHT JOHNSON 

  Suffolk, Jan. 27 - Mrs. Ann Eliza Johnson, wife of E.T. Johnson of Isle of 
Wight County, died at her home near Colosse, yesterday morning.  She was the 
oldest daughter of the late John T. and Midred Ann Wright of Holy Neck, and 
is survived by one sister, Mrs. Mattie J. Cox of Suffolk, her husband and one 
son, John E. Johnson of Norfolk.  She had been in feeble health for several 
months, and had suffered a stroke of paralysis on the second of January.  The 
funeral services were held this afternoon at Colosse Baptist church, of which 
she was a member, conducted by Rev. J.T. Kitchen, assisted by Rev. Dr. I.W. 
Johnson, a nephew of the deceased.  The interment was made in the church yard 
at Colosse.
