SPIVEY JOHNSON Mrs. Cora Spivey Johnson, 74* year old well known resident of Carrsville community and native of Isle of Wight County, died Tuesday morning at Southampton Memorial Hospital after a short illness. She was the widow of J. Goode Johnson who proceeded her in death about one year ago. She was the daughter of the late Thomas* and Florine Rhodes Spivey, of Isle of Wight County. She was a member of the Beaver Dam Baptist church, the Faithful Workers Class, Rosalie Duncan Circle (WMU), and the Carrsville Home Demonstration Club. Surviving are two daughters, and two sons; Mrs. Olive J. Courley, Norfolk, and Mrs. Ida J. Dixon, of Carrsville. Two sons; J. Felton Johnson, Franklin and Raymond Johnson of Norfolk. Five grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. The body was taken to the W.J.M. Holland & Sons Funeral Home, and on Thursday will be taken to the church one hour before services. Funeral services will be held from the Beaver Dam Baptist Church Thursday at 4:30 p.m. by her pastor, the Rev. Edwin C. Thornton, Jr. Burial will be made in Beaver Dam Church Cemetery. Cora L.
