DOTTIE LANKFORD JOHNSON

   Suffolk - A funeral service for Mrs. Dottie Lankford Johnson, 80, was held 
Monday at 2:30 p.m. in Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home by the Rev. Herman W. 
Russell. Burial was in Beaver Dam Baptist Cemetery.

   She died Friday in a hospital.

   She was a native of Isle of Wight County and the widow of Alfred J. Johnson 
Sr.

   She was a member of Holland Baptist Church.

   Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Katherine J. Holland and Mrs. Helen J. 
Byrd; a son, Edward A. Johnson; and five sisters, Mrs. John Anna Bradshaw, Mrs. 
Nancy Oliver, Mrs. Celester L. Truitt, Mrs. Geneva L. Candler, and Miss Mary J. 
Lankford, all of Suffolk; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
