Jenkins was conducted yesterday at 3:30 p.m. in Colosse Baptist Church by the Rev. William A. Grissom of Windsor Christian Church and the Rev. Donald E. Trump of Virginia Beach. Burial was in the Colosse Church cemetery with W.J.M. Holland & Sons Funeral Home in charge. Jenkins, 83, a native of Isle of Wight County, died Monday night in a Suffolk hospital after a brief illness. He was the husband of Mrs. Dona Stephenson Jenkins and a son of William F. and Mrs. Georgia Ann Spivey Jenkins. He was a member of Colosse Baptist Church and Woodmen of the World. Besides his widow, surviving are two sisters, Mrs. John H. Babb of Windsor and Miss Myrtle Jenkins of Edenton, N.C.; and a brother, Floyd F. Jenkins of Richmond.
