BATTEN JOHNSON Carrollton, March 17 - Mrs. C.E. Johnson of Carrollton, died Sunday at Elizabeth Hospital, Richmond aged 47. She is survived by her husband Claude E. Johnson of Carrollton, Isle of Wight County; one son W.A. Johnson, a daughter, Mrs. W.R. Turner, her mother, Mrs. George Edwards, one sister, Mrs. Joseph Chapman, a brother, John W. Bryant, and several grandchildren, James E., Iola and Jean Turner, William Robert Turner, W.A. Johnson and Ida C. Johnson. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock at Oakland Christian Church, by the Rev. Dr. I.W. Johnson, assisted by the Rev. Mr. Owen. Burial was made in Oakland Church Cemetery. Ida V.
