JULIAN CLARENCE JENKINS 

   Julian Clarence Jenkins, 58, a properous farmer of the Colosse community, 
Isle of Wight County, died in Raiford Memorial Hospital early Wednesday 
morning, July 29, after a brief illness. 

   The deceased was the son of the late William F. and Permelia Rebecca Spivey 
Jenkins of Isle of Wight County.  He was a member of the Colosse Baptist 
Church and of the Woodmen of the World.

   Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Annie Bradshaw Jenkins; two sons, Julian C. 
Jenkins, Jr., of Carrsville and Joel F. Jenkins of Oilville, Goochland County; 
two daughters, Mrs. Roberts Walters of Warwick and Mrs. Palmer Spivey of 
Carrsville; a brother, Floyd F. Jenkins of Richmond; a sister, Miss Myrtle 
Jenkins of Edenton, N.C., a half-brother, A.H. Jenkins of Windsor; and a half-
sister, Mrs. John H. Babb, also of Windsor.

   Funeral services for Mr. Jenkins will be conducted in the chapel of W.J.M. 
Holland & Sons on Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock by Rev. J. Sidney Cobb, with 
interment in the Colosse Church Cemetery.
