JOHNSON Suffolk, April 14 - Funeral services for Julius C. Johnson, who died last night at his home in Isle of Wight County were held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. and the following ministers officiating. The Rev. H.E. Cruthefield, the Rev. Elisha Brayshaw, Dr. N.G. Newman, Dr. Elwood W. Jones, the Rev. J.F. Morgan and the Rev. O.D. Poythress sung a duet, "Beautiful Land." The following served as active pallbearers: Otis V. Joyner, J.B. Bland, E.W. Beale, R.T. Bowden, Julian Jenkins and Clifton Joyner. Friends of the family and neighbor were asked to serve as honorary pallbearers.
