MRS. W.J. JOHNSON DIES EARLY TODAY 

Funeral Friday At Windsor Christian Church; Had Been Ill Some Time 

  Mrs. Lucy Virginia Johnson, widow of W.J. Johnson, died after a long illness 
at 2 a.m. today at her home on Franklin street.  Mrs. Johnson was 52 years of 
age. 

  Surviving are four daughters and two sons, Misses Mary Virginia Johnson and 
Olive Johnson, Mrs. Edward Hundley and Mrs. Elton Gwaltney; W. Judson Johnson, 
Jr., and Earl Johnson, all of Suffolk.  Also three grandchildren. 

  Funeral services will be held Friday, at 3 p.m., at the Windsor Christian 
church, of which Mrs. Johnson was a member.  The rites will be conducted by 
the Rev. N.G. Newman, D.D.  Burial will be in the cemetery of Antioch 
Christian Church.
