Johnson, was born July 17, 1865, died July 7, 1911. .She was a great sufferer for several months. A loving husband and children and her physician did all in their power to restore her to health. About two weeks before her death she was taken to a hospital in Norfolk, where it was hoped she could be benefited. She died while at the hospital. She was brought to her home near Windsor after her death, and funeral services were conducted at Antioch church by the writer. She leaves a husband, five children, five grandchildren, a mother, one sister, and one brother to mourn their loss. May the Lord bless and comfort them. R.H. D, 16th VA Infantry. He was WIA 22 Jun 1864 at Petersburg, and was paroled at Appomattox C.H.
