WILLIAM HENRY JOHNSON 

   William Henry Johnson, 84, a retired farmer of the Carrsville community, 
died at noon on Tuesday, March 4, after an illness of several weeks.

   A lifelong resident of Isle of Wight County, Mr. Johnson was the son of 
the late Jordan and Martha Johnson.  He was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist 
Church.

   Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Nancy Carr Johnson of Carrsville; a son, 
William Richmond Johnson of Snow Hill, Md.; six grandchildren; and one 
brother, J.P. Johnson of Holland.

   Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock this (Friday) afternoon at 
Beaver Dam Baptist Church.  The pastor, Rev. Edwin C. Thornton will officiate; 
and burial will be in the church cemetery.
