SMITHFIELD - Lloyd Earl Joyner, Sr., 65, of 204 Cary St., died Tuesday in a Newport News hospital. Born in Isle of Wight county, he was a member of Smithfield Baptist Church. Survivors included his wife, Mrs. Doris Turner Joyner; three daughters, Mrs. Evelyn J. Bryant of Smithfield, Mrs. Linda J. Bell of Elberon, and Mrs. Pam. J. Camper of Carrollton; three sons, L.D. Joyner of Battery Park and Lloyd E. Joyner Jr. and Durial E. Joyner , both of Smithfield; six sisters, Mrs. Nina J. Turner of Smithfield, Mrs. Goldie J. Carr and Mrs. Ruby Nell Perry, both of Whaleyville, Mrs. Hazel J. Berryman of Surry, Mrs. Margie J. Harrell of Suffolk and Mrs. Deanie J. Holland of Windsor; and 10 grandchildren. A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday in Colonial Funeral Home by the Rev. Warren F. Taylor and the Rev. A.J. Edwin Clever. Burial will be in St. Luke's Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 tonight at the funeral home. ****************************************************************************** LLOYD EARL JOYNER SR. SMITHFIELD - Funeral services for Lloyd Earl Joyner Sr., 65, were held Thursday at 3 p.m. in Colonial Funeral Home by the Revs. Warren F. Taylor and A.J. Edwin Cleaver. Burial was in St. Luke’s Memorial Park. Joyner died Tuesday in Riverside Memorial Hospital, Newport News. He was a native of Isle of Wight County and the husband of Doris Turner Joyner. He was a member of Smithfield Baptist Church. Other survivors include three daughters, Evelyn J. Bryant of Smithfield, Linda J. Bell of Elberon, and Pam J. Camper of Carrollton; three sons, L.D. Joyner of Battery Park, Lloyd E. Joyner Jr., and Durial Joyner of Smithfield; six sisters, Nina J. Turner of Smithfield, Goldie J. Carr and Ruby Nell Perry of Whaleyville, Hazel J.
