Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2:30 p.m. in the Hill Funeral Home by the Rev. W.A. Grissom, the Rev. James H. Tate and the Rev. J.W. Collins. Burial will be in Antioch Christian Church Cemetery. The family will be at the home of Mrs. R.C. Burden, 1336 Wilroy Road. A native of Isle of Wight County, she was a member of Isle of Wight Christian Church, the women's Fellowship, and the Ladies' Bible Class of the church. She was the wife of the late Lloyd L. Joyner and daughter of the late Jack and Mary Rawls Mizelle*. She is survived by seven step-daughters, Mrs. Nina Turner and Mrs. Lelia Mitchell of Smithfield, Mrs. Goldie Carr, Mrs. Ruby Nell Perry and Mrs. Marjorie Harvell, all of Suffolk, Mrs. Hazel Berryman of Surry and Mrs. Deanie Holland of Windsor; four step-sons, Elliott Joyner of Richmond, J.T. Joyner of Suffolk, and Earl Joyner and Nurney Joyner of Smithfield; four grand children and seven great-grandchildren. ****************************************************************************** M. Joyner and the daughter of the late William J. and Mary Rawles Mizelle*. She is survived by three granddaughters, Mrs. J.L. Pinner of Franklin, Mrs. R.C. Burden of Suffolk, Mrs. James E. Manning of Smithfield; one grandson, Wesley C. Carter of Alexandria; and seven great-grandchildren. Also seven stepdaughters, Mrs. Nina Turner and Mrs. Lelia Mitchell of Smithfield, Mrs. Goldie Carr, Mrs. Ruby Nell Perry and Mrs. Marjorie Harvell of Suffolk, Mrs. Hazel Berryman of Surry and Mrs. Deanie Holland of Windsor; four stepsons, Elliott Joyner of Richmond, J.T. Joyner of Suffolk, Earl Joyner and Nurney Joyner of Smithfield. A funeral service was held Friday, July 17, at 2:30 p.m. in the I.O. Hill & Co. Funeral Home by the Rev. William A. Grissom, the Rev. James A. Tate, and the Rev. J.W. Collins. Burial was in the Antioch Christian Church cemetery.
