He was a native of Isle of Wight County and the widow of William Clyde King. She was a member of Smithfield Baptist Church and the T.E.L. Sunday School Class. Survivors include three daughters, Frances K. Minga of Smithfield, Betty K. Miltier of Portsmouth and Joy K. Lowe of Port Salerno, Fla.; a sister, Gladys Delk Seward of Surry; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Colonial Funeral Home by the Revs. Donald R. Rhoton and Warren F. Taylor. Burial will be in St. Luke's Memorial Park. The family will be at the home of a daughter, 500 Bailey Ave. Memorial donations may be made to the building fund of Smithfield Baptist Church or the Isle of Wight County Rescue Squad.
