All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ WILLIAM DREW LOWE William Drew Lowe, 69, husband of Maggie Odell Lowe, died suddenly Tuesday night at 8:30 o'clock at his home in Walters where he was a prominent merchant. He was a member of Mount Carmel Christian Church. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are daughters, Misses Dorothy, Helen, Mabel and Jessie Maie Lowe; two sons, Stanley and Ballard Lowe, all of Walters; a sister, Mrs. Rosa Johnson of Sedley, and a brother, Q.B. Lowe of Franklin, as well as a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted at Mount Carmel Church Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock by the Rev. H.E. Crutchfield, assisted by the Rev. Elisha Bradshaw. Pallbearers were Jasper Carr, J.S. Johnson, Otis E. Joyner, E.W. Beale, Frank H. Johnson, W.T. Cox, R.W. Raiford and Julian Carr.
