Mrs. L.K. Livesay, Of Newport News Buried Tuesday 

  Newport News - Mrs. Laura Katherine Livesay, 36, of Newport News, died at 
noon, October 5th, at her home after a long illness. 

  A native of Carrollton, Mrs. Livesay had lived in Newport News 14 years. 
She is survived by her husband, Randolph Lee Livesay; her parents, Mr. and 
Mrs. J.C. Ashby, of Carrollton; three brothers, W.M., George C. and R.W. 
Ashby, of Carrollton; and three sisters, Mrs. W.A. Stevens, of Portsmouth, 
Mrs. F.P. Norsworthy of Carrollton, and Mrs Margaret Allen, of Norfolk. 

  Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Peninsula Funeral Home, 
Newport News, with the Rev. John Newman officiating, assisted by the Rev. 
Herman T. Stevens.  Burial followed in St. Luke's Cemetery, Benns Church, 
Isle of Wight.
