Leon Lewis of Zuni, died at her home Sunday night, November 13, on her 75th birthday after an illness of several months. She is survived by two sons, Stanley L. Lewis of Portsmouth and E. Roland Lewis of Zuni, two daughters, Mrs. Dryon C. Bowden, Sr., and Mrs. Harry C. Carr, both of Zuni; two sisters, Mrs. Frank Johnson of Zuni and Mrs. William Jennings of Norfolk; one brother, Otis V. Joyner of Walters, six grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock at Mt. Carmel Congregational Christian Church by Rev. Ellis Clark, former pastor, and Rev. Jeff Monroe, pastor of the Zuni Presbyterian Church. Pallbearers were Clifton Joyner, Jasper Carr, Willie Beale, G.B. Garent, Fred Johnson, Taylor Holland, Malbor Joyner and James Rawls. ****************************************************************************** Mrs. Beedie Lewis Rites Held Today ZUNI - Funeral services for Mrs. Beedie Joyner Lewis, who died at her home in Zuni Sunday night, were held at the Mount Carmel Congregational Christian Church today at 3 p.m. Officiating was the Rev. Ellis Clark, former pastor of Mount Carmel Church, and the Rev. Jeff Monroe, pastor of the Zuni Presbyterian Church. Interment was in the church cemetery. Active pallbearers were Fred Johnson, Taylor Holland, Malbon Joyner, Clifton Joyner, Willie Beale Jasper Carr, G.B. Gareet, and James Rawls. Beedie (JOYNER; Mrs. S.
