Mrs. MARTHA LEWIS 

Franklin, Va., Oct. 22 - Mrs. Martha Rhodes Lewis, 61, resident of the Colosse 
community, Isle of Wight County, died Saturday at the home of her brother, 
Emmett B. Rhodes, near Windsor, Va.  She was the widow of Luther L. Lewis. 
She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Chester L. Carr, of Carrsville, Va., and 
Mrs. Hurley Gay, of Zuni, Va.; three brothers, Emmett B., Earnest N. and 
Kennie P. Rhodes, all of Windsor.  Funeral rites will be held at Colosse 
Baptist Church at 11 a.m. Sunday.  Interment will be in the church cemetery.
